I have been ambitious from a young age, whether it was winning at a family game of monopoly (which was a frequent occurrence) or selling sweets to school mates in order to make a small profit. I later learnt that I could use this ambition to create a career for myself in sales and hopefully create enough money to generate a comfortable lifestyle.
After learning this I joined a direct face to face sales company at the age of 18 years and worked my way up the ranks learning my trade. Although the sales were rewarding in terms of enjoyment and excitement, I found the financial rewards hardly satisfying, which is when my family members mentioned recruitment. GCS later received a phone call and I haven't looked back!
I have now been working for GCS for one year and have generated around £160,000 worth of profit within the Engineering division. I have also been offered a top of the range BMW to drive which is an unbelievable achievement and one I had never expected, especially at such a young age.
GCS has given me the opportunity to learn a considerable amount about recruitment, sales and general business etiquette which is imperative to developing myself in my sales career. Also the management support given at every step of my journey has been impeccable, which is obviously important when you are learning a new trade.
Overall my time here so far has been fun with an exciting atmosphere where the sky really is the limit. Although I am satisfied with my achievements to date I can see myself making a much more successful career from here onwards. I would recommend GCS to anyone who is up for the challenge!
