Prior to recruitment, I had tried my hand at everything from playing professional football to working for an Accountant but time was ticking away. I needed a career that would allow me to earn good money and give me the freedom to to achieve my life goals. A friend told me about recruitment and I have not looked back since.
I joined GCS as a Tele-Canvasser in the London office, making hundreds of calls each day to clients whilst learning the trade. After a successful three months I became a Resourcer and won several awards for hitting my monthly targets. This put me in good stead to become a successful Recruitment Consultant after one year with GCS.
I decided to work the Java market which was seen as a challenge as it had never been managed in the London office before. 18 months later, I have managed over 20 concurrent contractors and billed in excess of £300,000 for GCS.
My target is to become a Team Leader and hopefully run my own office in the not too distant future.
