I began my career as a personal trainer, before moving into sales. I initially took a role in the Banking and Financial Services industry but soon began to realise I could not earn the money that would give me the lifestyle that I wanted.
Then I received a call from GCS. Although I had never thought about recruitment, I decided to give it a go. It was the best career decision I ever made.
I started as a full time Recruitment Consultant on the PC/Network Support Market in Reading. After only seven months of training and support from my team, I achieved the following:
- reached my car target
- won a trip to the new Wembley stadium
- won a trip to Paris
- finished top of the Sales Rookie league (winning a £400 suit in the process)
I have been promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant and am rapidly climbing to the top of the Sales board.
My aim is to finish the year as a top-billing consultant and ultimately become a Team Leader.
GCS is a great place to work and I am clearly an example of what you can achieve in such a short space of time if you put your mind to it.
