I graduated with a degree in Sociology and had never considered a career in recruitment until a friend working in the industry told me that I'd really enjoy it and earn fantastic money at the same time.
I started as a Tele-Canvasser and quickly progressed to a Resourcer. Within seven months, I was running my own desk within Applications Development, moving onto the Database/Data Warehousing Market.
In my first year I billed £90,000 and began to see the financial rewards for all my hard work! There are always great incentives to be won, such as overseas trips, quarterly lunches and big bonuses.
I have been the top Contracts Recruitment Consultant billing around £40-50,000 per month and have achieved more than I ever imagined. I've bought a house, a sports car and I am on target to earn around £150,000 this year.
I have advanced my career by taking on a Team Leader role and I am also on target to break the company record by billing over £500,000 this year. This is a fantastic achievement!
I love working in a fast-paced environment and joining GCS was one of the best decisions I made.
