After 5 years working as the manager of a well-established sales company, I felt I had exhausted the property sales market. I took a well-earned break but soon, the desire for selling came back.
I was approached by a head-hunter who suggested a career in recruitment and, after two challenging interviews, I was offered a position at GCS.
I began my career at GCS as a Resourcer for a very successful Principal Consultant. He taught me everything about the recruitment lifecycle through one-to-one mentoring. This was supplemented by GCS' excellent Masterclass Training Programme.
Six months later, after proving myself to be a successful biller, I was made a Recruitment Consultant on the Testing Market. I was given the responsibility for managing my own business and putting into practice everything I had learnt.
Since becoming a Recruitment Consultant I have won many awards including 'Best Newcomer' and 'Consultant of the Quarter' and have won incentives for trips to Las Vegas, Miami and Paris.
I have recently been made a Team Leader having achieved a placement total of 40 contractors.
GCS has allowed me to follow my passion for sales, whilst at the same time offering great financial rewards.
