Before working at GCS, Shaun had spent 10 years in the double glazing industry, building up sales teams and running five branches. But the job was taking its toll and he needed to move somewhere else. So he joined GCS.
Starting as a Consultant, Shaun made rapid progress. He became a Senior Consultant after only 18 months and is now one of the top recruiters in the company: to date he has generated over £850,000 and is on track to break through the £1 million barrier.
Shaun believes that success at GCS is only possible through hard work and determination, but all the hard work is compensated by the atmosphere: “There is such friendship and camaraderie, and everyone chips in to help each other out. It’s like being part of a family. And there is no chance of boredom creeping in: nothing is ever the same two days running, and this keeps me coming back.”
Shaun feels that GCS has given him great support: “The job isn’t easy and you need to be thick skinned and able to take rejection. Learning how to cope with this is a crucial part of the training we all receive. GCS is rare in that training is given by directors and senior managers - and they teach you that nothing is unachievable if you try hard enough.”
